Communicating the Gospel

DISCUSSION:
This week we will discuss what the Lord showed me concerning the communication of the gospel. If God shows you a revelation, but you can't communicate it, then what good is it? It just is a benefit to you. Warrior Notes Ministry is all about helping others, which is what Jesus did. He came down here and walked this earth without exalting Himself. Philippians 2:7 says that Jesus became a servant and "did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped." In other words, He came as a servant and promoted His Father. By allowing the Holy Spirit to use Him, Jesus announced the gospel message, then He suffered and died for us. He was a Servant Who did it for us, so He didn't speak in a way people could not comprehend. There were times when people did not understand because their hearts were dull; however, if you look at His message, you will see that He used parables and communicated very clearly.

LET YOUR GIFT OUT
My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
—Psalm 45:1

King David had an outflow of the Spirit of God. His creativity came from within and overflowed with a theme from which he recited his written composition. He was an author, a psalmist, a priest, a king, and a prophet. David was highly talented in writing and singing. All of us need to be able to communicate what God has deposited inside of us. Jesus was able to do this. He helped people grasp who the Father was and Who He was. His message was good news. I want to encourage all of you that God has placed gifts inside you. Like David's heart was overflowing with a specific theme, so will yours.

What you see at Warrior Notes came forth because God placed it inside me. Think about all that you see that is happening at Warrior Notes. At one time, that was all inside of my heart. Look at all that has come forth. Now I can encourage you. What is it that God has placed inside of you? It's a gift for the body, which every person needs it.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Remember that everything that happens to you is for the benefit of others too. It is just not for yourself. All the revelation you receive when you are in prayer, seeking God, and having dreams and visions, is not just for you. Yes, Holy Spirit is trying to help you as well; however, in the long run, the body of Christ needs to be built up.

In the community of believers all over the world, we need to be able to strengthen each other. God uses the gifting that is in each individual to accomplish this.

After you have determined your theme, you must be able to recite or compose everything that's inside. You need to get it out by speaking it forth. Think about this. God could give you a thought or a vision. He could say or reveal something which is strictly for you until you either recite it or write it down. You can sense these gifts inside you, just like I did all my life. Now we see Warrior Fellowships, Warrior Notes School of Ministry, and our other ministries influencing the world. The influence that we now see used to be inside of me. If I had not spoken out what God gave me, written it, or acted on what I saw or heard, it would still be inside of me. No one would even know. But because it manifested, now everybody knows.

MANIFEST THE GOSPEL
God, Who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, Whom He has appointed heir of all things, through Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
—Hebrews 1:1-3  

Jesus, the Son of God, came and manifested the expressed image of the Father on earth. He is Emmanuel, God with us. Jesus came in the flesh, walked the earth, and ministered to people. Then He commissioned us to do the same thing, stating that we would actually do greater works than He did (John 14:12).

And then He told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in My name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed."
—Mark 16:15-18 NLT

At first, it may not seem possible to do what Jesus did, but it is true. We started to find out that the demons were listening to us and left when we would use the name of Jesus. When we laid hands on sick people, they were recovering. We were preaching the good news, and people saw their finances and relationships healed. We witness all of these different signs and wonders happen. These are examples of the communication of the gospel.

UNITY IN THE SPIRIT
The reason why God moves in your heart is so that He can manifest through you to impact the lives of others. There is a transference, an impartation that has to manifest to impact lives in your environment. God has inspired me to help people in specific ways. Sometimes, He has spoken to me for days, but it feels like a suggestion at first. After a while, I start to think, okay, Lord, what about this? What do you want me to do? Then when I start talking to my wife, Kathi, I often find out that it was also on her heart. We are on the same page with the Lord, and He confirms it through each other. She often says, "Yeah, the Lord's talking to me about that too."

That is an example of the communication of God's message. I receive the message from the Lord, but then I find out that others are hearing the same thing.

Often when we preach in different cities and deliver messages, the Lord will give me something specific to speak on or share a particular story. Then you can see the confirmation in the comments. One may say, "We were just talking about that in church today!" or "I just hung up with my mom, and she actually said the same thing you just said." The communication of the Spirit amongst the body will be the same message worldwide. God is ministering by His Spirit. Through Warrior Fellowships, the Lord instructed us to pre-record and send the same to be taught and discussed all over. The Lord said, "Do that because it brings unity in the Spirit." It starts to synchronize and tune each of us to each other.

GOD MOVES IN YOU TO MOVE THROUGH YOU

How God moves in your life will eventually work itself out to get to others. When I worked for the airline and was in different hotel rooms, I prayed for my crew members and whomever I was flying with that week. There were all types of unique situations, and the Spirit of God gave me revelation about specific individuals I was working with. I would pray for them, and the Lord would start showing me things. At first, I wasn't sure if what I was seeing or feeling was really from the Holy Spirit, but after a while, I gained confidence that I was hearing from God. It became more and more accurate over the years. When I would share what God showed me, they often responded, "There's no way that you could know that!"

I continued to intercede and pray for the people that were around me. Over time, I saw them give their lives to the Lord or commit themselves to serving Jesus based on a word I had just received in prayer. It started as just an impression given to me so I could influence others. In this case, it was my coworkers.

When you go to work or whatever you do, think of yourself as an intercessor, planted there to influence others.

• Intercession is a vital part of the manifestation of the kingdom of God.

• You are called to manifest the gifts that are inside of you. I pray that you do prophesy, and have words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and a gift of faith.

• When you're in the marketplace or with your family, you can just speak out words from the Spirit and break the devil's powers. You can see miracles happen.

• Believers are meant to operate in the supernatural. The gifts of the Spirit are not just for church gatherings but to help the people around you and communicate the good news.

After working at the airline for many years, people knew that not only was I a Christian, but they also had heard about my supernatural experiences. They had many questions, so we would sit around during ground time between flights. They would ask questions, and I would start talking as the Holy Spirit led me. Suddenly, God would move and touch people's hearts as I shared my testimonies.

Coworkers often got up and told the pilots, who were just sitting up in the cockpit, to wait. The pilots would come in the back where I was just to hear my stories. Before then, I would just come to work thinking I didn't fit in. I didn't know why I was there at first because I felt called to the ministry. At the time, my ministry mentality was that I

had to have a church, a parsonage, and a pulpit. 

Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, "No, don't worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.

—Revelation 19:10 NLT

Back then, I didn't realize that my ministry involved sharing my testimony at work, which is the spirit or essence of prophecy. In other words, it expresses who Jesus is and what He is doing in your life.

You have a God-given gift, too, which can translate into a ministry or a way of communicating to others. You could start by testifying about what Jesus has done for you. I used to simply believe that God would do miracles in my life so that I could tell people. At first, I believed for one miracle a day; I expected something profound to happen every day. Now it is more. Back then, the only reason I had this desire was to tell somebody else about it. Even to this day, when something profound happens, I can't wait to call somebody and testify that God just did something supernatural. You should be like that too!

The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, "Come and see a Man who told me everything I ever did! Could He possibly be the Messiah?" So the people came streaming from the village to see Him.

—John 4:28-30 NLT

There is something inside of you that God wants to use, just like the woman at the well. Jesus gave her a word, and she thought He was a prophet. He was much more than a prophet, but Jesus was not in the synagogue or church. He was out and about at a well. He was prophesying to a lady at the place where they got their water, and she was so touched that she went around telling everybody. At my job, I learned how to relate to people at their level and communicate the gospel's message. This is what we're called to do, to share the message of the gospel and to be able to relate to people.

PRAYER:

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for all my family all over the world Fellowships. I ask, Lord, that You help us to understand how important the communication of the gospel is, that it's not just receiving a revelation or information; it's about the communication of the message. So Father, help us to be good communicators. Let us manifest Your glory in Your kingdom. Thank You, Lord, that everyone receives healing and deliverance right now. I declare that their finances receive resurrection life and that You would help them. Lord, provide for every family member. Stand by each one of us in these times that we live in, giving us wisdom and knowledge. Thank You in advance for all Your provision. In Jesus' name, amen.
